Baker Media began with its first station in the Fort Smith, Arkansas market in 1972 with KISR 93.7 FM playing current Top 40. Since then KISR has been expanded into Fayetteville, Arkansas on 96.1 FM. Baker Media also has one of the oldest AM stations in Fort Smith, Arkansas, KFSA 950 AM, which currently can also be heard on 93.1 FM. KFSA is a news talk station delivering todays hottest topics of conversation with many of the top talk shows in the United States.

In 2001, we added KREU, known as La Raza 92.3 FM. KREU is the only commercial Hispanic radio station in the Fort Smith area playing Regional Mexican and delivering live and local flavor. In the last few years, Baker Media has added three additional stations, Rock 94.1 FM playing modern rock, the River 101.9 FM playing classic rock hits, and The Rooster 105.5 FM playing the best of classic country music. These three stations, along with KISR, are also available in HD format, if you have an HD receiver.

No matter your music or listening tastes, Baker Media has a station for you. Live and local DJs on all stations, live and local contests, and all stations are covered with the latest weather by our own meteorologist, Race Riley. Baker Media is the only radio group in the region with its own meteorologist keeping you safe during storm season and giving you all the latest conditions.
